Glenn para a Biologia do Envelhecimento na Harvard Medical School.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"928\">O NADH \u00e9 uma mol\u00e9cula encontrada em todas as c\u00e9lulas vivas e \u00e9 fundamental para regular o envelhecimento celular e manter a fun\u00e7\u00e3o adequada de todo o corpo.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"994\">Os n\u00edveis de NADH diminuem significativamente ao longo do tempo.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1189\">Em um estudo publicado em mar\u00e7o de 2017 na revista <em data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1056\">Science<\/em>, Sinclair e seus colegas colocaram gotas de um composto conhecido por elevar os n\u00edveis de NAD+ na \u00e1gua para um grupo de camundongos.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1281\">O NADH (Nicotinamida Adenina Dinucleot\u00eddeo) \u00e9 uma coenzima encontrada em todas as c\u00e9lulas.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1353\">Sua principal fun\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de energia celular para o organismo.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1355\" data-end=\"1424\">Quanto mais NADH uma c\u00e9lula possui, mais energia ela poder\u00e1 produzir.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1509\">Dentro de algumas horas, os n\u00edveis de NAD+ nos ratos aumentaram significativamente.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1511\" data-end=\"1784\">Em cerca de uma semana, os sinais de envelhecimento no tecido e nos m\u00fasculos dos camundongos mais antigos se inverteram ao ponto de os pesquisadores n\u00e3o poderem mais distinguir a diferen\u00e7a entre os tecidos de um camundongo de 2 anos de idade e os de um de 4 meses de idade.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1786\" data-end=\"1864\">Agora os cientistas est\u00e3o tentando alcan\u00e7ar resultados semelhantes em humanos.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1866\" data-end=\"2236\">Um ensaio cl\u00ednico randomizado (considerado o padr\u00e3o-ouro da pesquisa cient\u00edfica), realizado por um grupo diferente de pesquisadores e publicado em novembro de 2017 na revista <em data-start=\"2041\" data-end=\"2049\">Nature<\/em>, descobriu que pessoas que tomavam um suplemento di\u00e1rio contendo precursores de NAD+ apresentaram um aumento substancial e sustentado em seus n\u00edveis de NAD+ por um per\u00edodo de dois meses.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2238\" data-end=\"2395\">O NADH, ou dinucleot\u00eddeo adenina com nicotinamida reduzido, \u00e9 produzido no corpo a partir da niacina, uma vitamina B. Est\u00e1 contido em todas as c\u00e9lulas vivas.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2397\" data-end=\"2500\">O NADH \u00e9 um suplemento comum para pessoas com fibromialgia (FMS) e s\u00edndrome da fadiga cr\u00f4nica (ME\/CFS).<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2502\" data-end=\"2698\">Seu uso, especialmente na FMS, \u00e9 baseado mais em evid\u00eancias aned\u00f3ticas e correspond\u00eancias hipot\u00e9ticas entre as fun\u00e7\u00f5es conhecidas do suplemento e as defici\u00eancias e sintomas conhecidos das doen\u00e7as.<\/p>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"2700\" data-end=\"2727\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong data-start=\"2704\" data-end=\"2727\">Aqui est\u00e1 o porqu\u00ea:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\r\n<ul data-start=\"2729\" data-end=\"3697\">\r\n<li data-start=\"2729\" data-end=\"2964\">\r\n<p data-start=\"2731\" data-end=\"2964\">Como uma coenzima, o NADH ajuda as enzimas do corpo a quebrar os alimentos e convert\u00ea-los em energia na forma de trifosfato de adenosina (ATP). Pesquisas limitadas mostram que o NADH pode ser um tratamento eficaz para ME\/CFS e tamb\u00e9m para depress\u00e3o, doen\u00e7a de Parkinson e doen\u00e7a de Alzheimer.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3699\" data-end=\"4018\">No entanto, mais estudos s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios antes de podermos afirmar qu\u00e3o eficaz \u00e9 esse tratamento para quaisquer doen\u00e7as.<\/p>\r\n<hr data-start=\"4020\" data-end=\"4023\" \/>\r\n<h3 data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"70\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">NAD\u207a e COVID-19: o que mostram os estudos de 11\/2025 de Harvard publicados no The Lancet<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p data-start=\"72\" data-end=\"353\">Pesquisadores ligados \u00e0 <strong data-start=\"96\" data-end=\"122\">Harvard Medical School<\/strong> e ao <strong data-start=\"128\" data-end=\"152\">Mass General Brigham<\/strong> v\u00eam estudando um tema que tem ganhado cada vez mais aten\u00e7\u00e3o ap\u00f3s a pandemia: a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre <strong data-start=\"246\" data-end=\"291\">NAD\u207a (nicotinamida adenina dinucleot\u00eddeo)<\/strong> e a <strong data-start=\"296\" data-end=\"308\">COVID-19<\/strong>, especialmente nos casos de <strong data-start=\"337\" data-end=\"352\">covid longa<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"619\" data-end=\"733\">Com o envelhecimento e em situa\u00e7\u00f5es de estresse intenso \u2014 como infec\u00e7\u00f5es virais \u2014 os n\u00edveis de NAD\u207a tendem a cair.<\/p>\r\n<h4 data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"779\">O que os estudos observaram na COVID-19<\/h4>\r\n<p data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"1015\">Os trabalhos recentes mostraram que a infec\u00e7\u00e3o pelo SARS-CoV-2 pode levar a uma <strong data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"904\">redu\u00e7\u00e3o significativa dos n\u00edveis de NAD\u207a<\/strong>, principalmente em pessoas com quadros mais prolongados ou sintomas persistentes. Os principais achados foram:<\/p>\r\n<ul data-start=\"1487\" data-end=\"1656\">\r\n<li data-start=\"1487\" data-end=\"1526\">\r\n<p data-start=\"1489\" data-end=\"1526\">aumento dos n\u00edveis celulares de NAD\u207a,<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li data-start=\"1527\" data-end=\"1601\">\r\n<p data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1601\">melhora discreta, por\u00e9m consistente, de sintomas como fadiga e cogni\u00e7\u00e3o,<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li data-start=\"1602\" data-end=\"1656\">\r\n<p data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1656\">boa tolerabilidade, sem efeitos adversos relevantes.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p data-start=\"1658\" data-end=\"1877\">Embora os resultados sejam promissores, os pr\u00f3prios autores destacam que <strong data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"1784\">a suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o substitui o tratamento m\u00e9dico<\/strong>, nem pode ser considerada uma cura, mas sim uma <strong data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1866\">poss\u00edvel estrat\u00e9gia adjuvante<\/strong> em estudo.<\/p>\r\n<h4 data-start=\"1879\" data-end=\"1923\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">O que isso significa na pr\u00e1tica cl\u00ednica?<\/span><\/h4>\r\n<p data-start=\"1924\" data-end=\"2178\">Os dados refor\u00e7am a ideia de que a COVID-19 n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas uma doen\u00e7a respirat\u00f3ria, mas tamb\u00e9m uma condi\u00e7\u00e3o que afeta profundamente o <strong data-start=\"2056\" data-end=\"2079\">metabolismo celular<\/strong>.
