Coyle<\/strong><\/span><\/span><strong> e colaboradores, incluindo <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Guy A. Brooks<\/span><\/span> e <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Eric F. Romijn<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, publicado no <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">American Journal of Physiology<\/span><\/span> em 1993.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1757\" data-end=\"1781\">Esse estudo mostrou que:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"2009\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1c53vvw\" data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1842\">exerc\u00edcios leves utilizam proporcionalmente mais gordura;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1y4b6mu\" data-start=\"1843\" data-end=\"1901\">exerc\u00edcios muito intensos dependem mais de carboidratos;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"19d7kd\" data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"2009\">a maior taxa absoluta de oxida\u00e7\u00e3o de gordura costuma ocorrer em intensidade moderada (~60\u201365% do VO2m\u00e1x).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2051\"><strong>Isso \u00e9 fisiologicamente coerente porque:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2053\" data-end=\"2180\">\n<li data-section-id=\"p2rya3\" data-start=\"2053\" data-end=\"2087\">a gordura fornece muita energia;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1u3i0i5\" data-start=\"2088\" data-end=\"2124\">por\u00e9m sua utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 mais lenta;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"16uglht\" data-start=\"2125\" data-end=\"2180\">j\u00e1 o carboidrato consegue gerar ATP mais rapidamente.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2182\" data-end=\"2273\">Por isso, em atividades de alta intensidade, o organismo \u201cmigra\u201d para maior uso de glicose.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2275\" data-end=\"2278\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"19vuidx\" data-start=\"2280\" data-end=\"2332\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Um detalhe importante: \u201czona de queima de gordura\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2334\" data-end=\"2450\">Muitas pessoas interpretam esses dados como se exerc\u00edcios moderados fossem obrigatoriamente melhores para emagrecer.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2452\" data-end=\"2482\">Isso n\u00e3o \u00e9 totalmente correto.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2484\" data-end=\"2526\"><strong>O emagrecimento depende principalmente de:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2528\" data-end=\"2646\">\n<li data-section-id=\"5ohsup\" data-start=\"2528\" data-end=\"2558\">balan\u00e7o energ\u00e9tico negativo;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1lt8rbf\" data-start=\"2559\" data-end=\"2581\">ader\u00eancia ao treino;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"nxr14u\" data-start=\"2582\" data-end=\"2613\">manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de massa muscular;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1dvkjm8\" data-start=\"2614\" data-end=\"2646\">controle hormonal e alimentar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2648\" data-end=\"2897\"><strong>Treinos intensos podem utilizar proporcionalmente menos gordura durante o exerc\u00edcio, mas frequentemente aumentam mais o gasto energ\u00e9tico total ao longo do dia e melhoram sensibilidade \u00e0 insulina, condicionamento cardiovascular e composi\u00e7\u00e3o corporal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2899\" data-end=\"2907\">Ou seja:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2909\" data-end=\"3064\">\u00a0exerc\u00edcio moderado tende a usar mais gordura como combust\u00edvel imediato;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2909\" data-end=\"3064\">exerc\u00edcios intensos tamb\u00e9m podem favorecer emagrecimento de forma importante.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3066\" data-end=\"3069\" \/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"19g3f62\" data-start=\"3071\" data-end=\"3109\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Catecolaminas e libera\u00e7\u00e3o de gordura<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3111\" data-end=\"3174\">O texto tamb\u00e9m menciona corretamente o papel das catecolaminas:<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"3914\">favorece gasto energ\u00e9tico;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1gxcroh\" data-start=\"3915\" data-end=\"3959\">ajuda na regula\u00e7\u00e3o hormonal e reprodutiva.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p
